Shalimar A. Poulin: “Art-making and teaching feed my soul. The weight of my foot is in teaching. I look to summers and shorter vacations for personal creating and building a body of art with side-walk art shows in mind. I enjoy creating “mindless” and “pretty” art. It gives me a nice break from the intensity and demands of teaching.”

Ms Poulin teaches at the Wiscasset High School. She earned a BFA Degree from Hartford Art School in CT and a Master in Art Education from Temple University in PA. Ms Poulin has exhibited her art in juried and group shows in Maine. She welcomes commissions for house portraits, pet portraits as well as floral garden paintings and still life paintings.
